Electrical door safety locks used on De Dietrich pyrolytic built in ovens that self clean by using a very high heat. The door lock is fitted to prevent the oven door being opened whilst the pyrolytic cleaning program is running.
De Dietrich is now a part of the Fagor-Brandt Group but has on occasion also bough tin appliances such as cookers and washing machines from other third party manufacturers.
