Life is busy enough without trying to remember when to change the filter in you fridge or cooker hood etc. so, to remind you when to replace filters, there’s now Timestrip®, a unique ‘end-of-life’ indicator which clearly shows how long a filter has been working.
The problem with most fridges and, all cooker hood filters, is that whilst on a fridge at least there is normally some sort of filter change light to tell you when to change the filter it usually won't come on until you actually need to replace the filter. Obviously it is normally a few days before you can get one and swap it over but, if you use the water and ice a lot this can be an inconvenience.
Of course on most cooker hood filters there is no indication at all of when or if you need to change the carbon filter.
It's for these reasons that Timestrip is brilliant, we like it and, it's pretty cool really.
We suggest that one is placed inside your fridge to measure how long you have before you next need to change the water filter. Or, in a hood, either on the hood itself or in an adjacent cupboard so that, again, you can see when the filter needs changed.
The Timestrip® technology is used on some of the world’s most trusted brands, including Whirlpool®, WD40®, Febreze® and Tetra®.
This innovative technology is accurate, highly reliable and extremely easy to use.
The self-adhesive label works by measuring elapsed time: each label contains a porous membrane, through which a coloured liquid travels at a pre-calibrated
rate.
Your Timestrip is activated by simply squeezing the bubble on the label and a red line appears almost immediately to confirm that the indicator is active. That's it, you're done!
Safe, simple and dead easy.
Please do note that, once activated, the process cannot be stopped or reversed.
