This is a hand pad that will clean off most drum shafts including the brass collar and will take off most of the dirt and grime that collects there, without causing any damage. Of course it won't help if the collar is already damaged but it will make it pretty clean or as clean as it can be made.

We recommend the use of these pads when you replace bearings.
