This part is a low cost alternative to the genuine heater which you can buy from this link. We don't think that this copy is quite as good as the original but it is also almost half the price of the genuine part so, it's very cheap and we've had absolutely no trouble with these compatible elements.

 When tumble dryer heating elements fail you will get the fault of no heat from the dryer, but the thermostats can also give this problem so please inspect the heater for visible signs that it has blown. If there are no visible signs of it having failed then you will need to meter the element to ascertain whether or not it is fault.
However we would strongly recommend that when checking the heating element that you also check the thermostats as a matter of course for any sign of damage or burning. It is the case that faulty thermostats can cause the heating element to fail prematurely in some tumble dryers.
