Delivery Of Goods

Every effort will be made to ensure delivery of the goods within the defined time-scales but we can not be held responsible for delays in delivery once the order has been despatched. Delivery charges will not be refunded under any circumstances for lost or delayed parcels.

More information regarding delivery can be found on each item with an estimated delivery window based on average delivery times but this can vary deoending on conditions and the delivery method chosen at the point of ordering.

Delivery Times (Stock Items)

Stock lines are usually dispatched by the end of the next working day if the order is received by 2 PM. Most items are despatched by Royal Mail. Delivery times can vary but most orders arrive within 2-5 working days, if you have not received your item within 15 WORKING days after dispatch please contact us. Heavy and expensive items, such as motors and control units may be dispatched by a courier and will require a signature.

Delivery Address

Please take care when supplying your delivery address. Incorrectly addressed parcels, at best, will be delayed by the carrier as they will have to manually confirm the delivery details. The accuracy of an address can be checked using the Royal Mail Postcode Finder.

Please ensure that the delivery address used is complete and correct using the postcode lookup facility (small icon to the right of the postcode box on the checkout page) and that someone is available to receive the order if no-one is available when a delivery attempt is made retrieval of the goods will become your responsibility. This could mean using a work address or a friend/family member who is always available.

We will not accept any liability for orders returned to us as "undelivered" for any reason, it is your responsibility to supply a suitable delivery address

Please remember that Royal Mail (if this is your chosen delivery method) workers (ie your Postman/Woman) will be delivering your goods and they are NOT legally allowed to leave post without someone being available to hand it to or that it will fit through your letterbox so messages such as "please leave in porch" etc will not be accepted.

We can not accept responsibility for delayed parcels, or for parcels that have been delivered to an incorrectly supplied address.

The carrier (if used) will accept a signature from any person at the delivery address. Once a parcel is accepted and signed for, the responsibility for it passes to the customer (not the signatory)

Packaging

Please open the package carefully once received as some parts may have sharp edges. We cannot be held responsible for personal injury should anyone harm themselves either opening packages or whilst fitting parts.

We are able to send most parts outside of the UK, please contact us before ordering by email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

Damaged Goods

Damaged goods Where the outer package is damaged you should mark the carrier receipt with "Damaged" before signing and accepting delivery. If you are unsure as to the condition of the goods you should mark the carrier receipt as "Unchecked" before signing to accept delivery.

All claims for damaged goods must be made within 24 hours of delivery
